The trails on Kelleys Island consist of a network of paths on state, village, and other public lands.  These include trails for hiking, biking, as well as mixed use, as shown on the map.  See a downed tree or flooding on the trail?  Please report it below so we can add it to the trail report and address the issue!

5/15/2024	– All the trails on the north side of East Quarry have been trimmed and cleared!
5/10/2024	– North Shore loop trees have been cleared – Still some standing water in some spots – Woodford and other East rim trails overgrown; trail maintenance is planned for later this month – Long Point is still Blocked by trees – Woodford road entrance trail to East Quarry has a tree down near where it meets the quarry
3/9/2023	– Lots of standing water is also affecting Scheele Preserve trail – The Long Point trail is blocked by trees.
2/22/24	All trails open with a bit of standing water in some places with 2 exceptions: – The East Quarry doubletrack trail is impassible between the “U” and “W” markers where it exits to Division St. The North Shore Loop has 2 trees down but is passable.
1/14/24	East Quarry Rim trail is very icy. Other trails are passable, but beware long sections of ice. Long Point Hiking path has several trees down and blocking it.
9/20/23	All Trails open and clear including North Shore Loop
9/10/23	All trails open; North Shore loop still not passable due to downed trees East Quarry: – Woodford Woods Trails clear – South Quarry Ridge Trail clear – Quarry Rim and Quarry Floor Trails clear – Darien Gap Trail clear – North Rim Overlook trail clear – Grapevine Loop clear North Quarry: – Daisy Trail Loop wet but passable – North Shore Loop passable but not rideable due to downed trees North Pond Hiking Trail: – Trees cleared from boardwalk Scheele Preserve Hiking Trail: – Passable up to flooded area before beach – still swampy
8/28/23	Trails still drying; Bike park has been cleared and groomed. East Quarry: – Woodford Woods Trails clear – South Quarry Ridge Trail clear – Quarry Rim and Quarry Floor Trails clear – Darien Gap Trail clear – North Rim Overlook trail clear – Grapevine Loop clear CLOSED: Grapevine Loop westernmost exit path to quarry floor is under 14 inches of water North Quarry: – Daisy Trail Loop wet but passable – North Shore Loop? North Pond Hiking Trail: – Passable but at least 15 trees down on boardwalk Scheele Preserve Hiking Trail: – Passable up to flooded area before beach
